Among them, we will introduce three types of eye liner and then recommend three products in each type. The first type is pencil eye liner, second one is liquid type and third one is gel-type.
We evaluated these three products by judging their creaminess, durability, color formation, and spreadability. We assessed the products by going to stores and talking to the assistants, reviewing blogs, watching TV programs about beauty products and reading magazines.
Pencil type
The second one is “Powerpoint Eye Pencil” from MAC. The company MAC is one of the famous cosmetic stores for women. Powerpoint is good for color formation and creaminess. The creaminess allows you to draw your eye line smoothly compared to other products. But it is not very long lasting. The cost is 22,000 won.
The last one is “Eye Love You” from Clio. This product is good for color formation. If you want to express colors which you anticipate, try to use this product. Liquid type
Although liquids make it hard for beginners to draw eye lines, they have some advantages. Liquids dry faster than other types of eye liner such as pencil and gel. Lines from liquids can be also erased easier than other types of eye liner.

The second one is the “Style Liquid Sharp Eye Liner” from MISHAA. It is cheaper than the other products. It costs 3,500won. Although it is cheap it has lots of advantages. It is long lasting, maintains for about 5~7 hours and has good color formation. (We can spot your eye made up by this product at a very far distance.) However, it spreads easily when you rub your eyes.
The third one is “Liquid Eye Liner” from TONYMORY. It costs 4,500won. It is divided into two types. One is for usual skin and the other is for sensitive skin, so you can choose what you want. It is long lasting but its color formation is inferior to the other products. It also spreads a lot when you rub your eyes.
GEL type
If you want clear eye lines, we recommend the next three products. These are all gel type eyeliners. The gel type is not easy for the beginners, but it makes you have the clearest eye lines.
The first product is “Backstage Gel Eyeliner” from TONYMOLY. It is famous for good performance although it is very cheap at only 8,500 won. A line can be drawn easily and smoothly and a brush is included. However, it can spread as time passes. Colors are khaki black, pearl navy, brown, black and pearl brown.
The second product is “Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner” from BOBBI BROWN. This is the best gel eyeliner product. It’s expensive but value for money at 32,000 won. It’s long lasting and it doesn’t spread. In addition, color formation is very good. There are a total of eleven colors: Black, Espresso, Sepia, Chocolate Shimmer, Graphite Shimmer, Black Plum, Granite, Violet, Bronze Shimmer, Cobalt, and Hunter.
The final product is “Temptation Waterproof Gel Eyeliner” from Scandal. This product was recommended by a lot of bloggers. The price is 12,000 won. According to bloggers, the line is drawn easily without spreading. Also it has a waterproof function. However, color formation is not so good. It contains a brush and comes in three: Deep Black, Silver Pearl, and Dark Brown.
We recommended three types of eyeliner to you. Each of them has advantages and disadvantages. The pencil type is easy to draw, so it’ll be more suitable for beginners. And liquid type is easy to erase. The gel type is more superior to other types in quality. However, keep in mind that it is important to use what fits you.
